Storytime with Author Helen Rose
Come along to our special story time with children's author, Helen Rose. She will be sharing her new picture book, The Supersonic Fart and this promises to be a riot! Copies will be available to purchase and have signed on the day.

Creative Workshop - Book Edge Painting with Sandie Cottee
Bring your own books (or buy them in the shop) and join us after hours to decorate the edges under the guidance of local artist Sandie Cottee.
Taking place at 7:30pm on Tuesday 25th August 2026.
Tickets are limited due to space and are £30 per person. Art materials are supplied on the night.

Storytime with Ian Eagleton and Hayley Wells
Come along to our special story time with children's author, Ian Eagleton (who used to work at our local school) and local illustrator Hayley Wells. They will be sharing her new picture book, Superheroes in the Park. Copies will be available to purchase and have signed on the day.

Monthly Book Club meet-ups
Once a month we have a Book Club to discuss the previous month's book. The next meet up will be discussing 'Two Little Liars' by Michelle Harrison
The next meet up takes place on Thursday 3rd September at 7:30pm.

Monthly Art Group
Our Art Group is an opportunity to socialise with other artists and crafters in the community. Bring your own projects to work on and feel inspired.

Monthly Silent Reading Socials
Our Silent Reading socials are an opportunity to allow yourself uninterrupted reading time in the comfort of our bookshop. Bring your own book and share recommendations with each other, with an hour dedicated to silent reading.
The next meet up takes place on Thursday 20th August at 7:30pm.

Monthly Late Night Shopping
Once a month we host a late night shopping on the last Thursday of the month. This coincides with Dessert Night at local cakery Phoebe's Pantry.
What a yummy combo.
Runs from 6pm to 8pm.
