The Book Nut in the Community
At The Book Nut, we are passionate about sharing stories and moments to enjoy books and creativity, therefore we strive to bring those opportunities to the community - where we are able to.
As a small business we have limitations with what we can offer, therefore our community support in planned ahead and carefully considered.
This does mean that we are not able to assist with requests for raffle donations and prizes. We hope you can understand that we would rather place that funding into providing resources to facilitate a love of reading.

We are a Letter Keeper for The Sunday Letter Project
Our shop acts as a PO Box to allow you to connect with Pen Pals locally and around the world. Find out more in our shop or here
School Library Book Donations
Run instore during select periods over the year.
An opportunity for customers to donate some of their purchase towards supporting local schools, providing new books for their library. Look out for or next donation period.
Mobile Book Fairs
An opportunity for schools, nurserys, care homes and other community groups. Our mobile book fair can attend your event or hold an exclusive book fair. 10% of all purchases will be given to the host in credit against book purchases from us.
