About The Book Nut
The Book Nut is owned by Hazel Murrell.

Between 2014 and 2017 it was a charming physical bookshop in Barleylands Craft Village in Billericay.
Since it's closure, Hazel has dedicated her time to ensuring school libraries have quality children's literature and resources, working both in schools and the Essex School Library Service/Juniper Education before it closed.
Now, Hazel is bringing that experience and knoweldge to re-launch The Book Nut!
A School Library consultancy service to school in Essex and Bookshop, providing Freelance school Librarian support, mobile and online bookshop, school book supply, teacher subscriptions and much more.

Experience
- BA(hons) Illustration for Children's Publishing
- 3.5 years owning Children's bookshop.
- 5 years as Advsiory Librarian in School Library Service (1 year as Manager)
- Worked with and supported projects with School Library Association, National Literacy Trust 'World of Stories', PRH 'Lit in Colour Campaign'.
